Our PCSO, Sue Harwood, looks after the following very extensive patch: Dunton Green & Riverhead, Halstead, Knockholt & Badgers Mount. Brasted, Chevening, Sundridge & Ide Hill, Westerham & Crockham Hill

Back at the beginning of November she sent us this:

Dunton Green & Riverhead

Looking through the reports for Dunton Green and Riverhead there seems to be a drop in anti-social behaviour in the area, but when I liaise with the parish councils, I get told a completely different story.

I understand that a lot of issues are being posted on Facebook and / or WhatsApp groups, and although these media sites are a great way to share information, they are not the correct platform to report things to the police. It is vital that any crime, including Anti-social behaviour is reported in the correct way, either via 101, reporting it online, or live chat - also online. Please visit the Kent Police website for all police contact details and loads of other useful information.

From the few reports we have had, I will be doing my best to identify and track down the offenders of the recent Anti-social behaviour in the villages, I already have a few names which I will follow up

I have spoken to the local PCs who work through the night to pay passing attention to the Tesco car park and surrounding area in the early hours for any nuisance vehicles and deal with them accordingly

I will also be liaising with the parish council to view CCTV at the recreation ground but maybe some residents that have had issues could check their “Ring Doorbells” to see if any suspects have been caught causing an issue.

I have a very large area and I try to target the parts that seem to have more issues, but I can only do this if residents report crime / Anti- social behaviour as and when it happens.

Please, help PCSO Harwood to help Dunton Green!
UPDATE!
A number anti-social behaviour orders have now been issued as a result of the efforts of the PCSO, supported by the intelligence provided to her and using CCTV images obtained from the recreation ground. This wouold not have happened without direct liaison with the Police and we urge anyne affected by crime to contact the Police.
