St Mary the Virgin Church , Riverhead with Dunton Green continues to be open as a space for reflection and prayer following the death of Queen Elizabeth II. Please see below the times when church will be available and open this week:

Monday 12th 9 - 11am, 12pm - 2pm, 6 - 7:30pm

Tuesday 13th 2:30pm – 4pm

Wednesday 14th 9am -11am and 6 - 7:30pm

Thursday 15th 12 - 2pm

Friday 16th 2 - 4pm, 6 - 7:30pm

Saturday 17th 9 - 11am

Sunday 18th 8am -12 noon (services will be taking place as usual at 8am & 9:30am)

Next Sunday (18th September) they will be holding a special commemoration service ahead of the funeral on Monday 19th September. The Service will take place at St Mary the Virgin at 6:30pm and is open to all in our community.

Revd Andy Finn has told us that it has been moving to read some of the comments written over the last couple of days and has been great to share memories with members of the community as they have visited the church. Please do feel free to go along over the coming week if you wish to sign the condolence book, just sit in quiet contemplation, or join one of the services. You will be very much welcomed.

Follow London Road north and at the mini roundabout (junction with Station Road) go straight over. Village green to your left (noticeboard, flagpole, timber bus shelter) and shops to the right. Continue over bridge, Dunton Green Primary School and The Duke’s Head on your right. Immediately after the pub is the entrance to Glyn Davies Close but turn right just after this into the service road to the recreation ground car park (just before the terrace starts).
