We have some essential maintenance planned for the recreation ground over the coming days. Starting tomorrow (Wednesday 6th July), the first part of the work will be jet washing of the courts, the small children's play area and various items of play equipment/seating. We have allowed three days for this to be completed, although it might be finished sooner.

We then have algae/moss treatment of the court areas, the small children's play area and various other items. This is scheduled for Monday 11th July (weather permitting), but it will mean that the courts will be locked, and various areas will be cordoned off from 7.00am on Monday until latest 3pm on Tuesday 12th July.

PLEASE do not get in the way of the Parish Council's contractors when they are trying to complete the tasks and do not attempt to enter locked areas - they are locked for your safety and to allow the treatment to dry thoroughly.

We appreciate that this will be an inconvenience to many, but we wanted to get the work completed with the least disruption: while the weather is dry, before the school holidays start all with the aim of keeping the courts safe to use over winter.

Thank you for your patience!
