Clean Up Sevenoaks - THIS WEEKEND [20th & 21st March]!
Dunton Green Parish Council
‘CleanUp Sevenoaks' is running an initiative on 20th & 21st March to encourage everyone to shut down those computers and tv’s and get out into the fresh air whilst helping to keep our beautiful district clean and tidy. As an independent group of volunteers, they aim to reduce litter and fly tipping by raising awareness, educating future generations and encouraging people to take responsibility for their local environment.
In collaboration with the district, town and parish councils, they are working with the schools across the district, the Scouts, local businesses and some inspiring sponsors to pick up as much litter as possible over this coming weekend.
Due to social distancing rules, you cannot gather in groups but this can be a family or ‘bubble’ activity! Why not get involved? To join the fun, and for more details on where to collect litter packs,please visit www.cleanupsevenoaks.co.uk or the facebook page;
