In order to complete some well-overdue and much needed resurfacing of London Road (from the Tesco roundabout junction up to Barretts Road - opposite the Duke's Head), KCC are planning overnight closures of this stretch of road.

The works will start on 29th April (assuming all does go to plan) and will last 5 fays - EXCLUDING weekends and bank holidays, so expect the work to be finished somewhere around the night of 7th May. The closures will be from 20:00 to 06:00 each day, except for 6th May when the start time is delayed to 22:00.

If you usually park on the road in this area, PLEASE be considerate and park elsewhere overnight for the duration of the works. This will help KCC to get the work completed as scheduled and the whole village will benefit from the improved road surface.

Residents in the area should be receiving information by letter from KCC. All queries should be raised with Kent County Council and not the Parish Council please.
